Just a thought on mufflers... In my distant youth, glass packs were all the rage. To my ear, the Super Turbos on my C3 Vette have more the glass pack kind of sound than the Flowmasters -- sort of warm and snappy. Flowmasters sound great, but they have a colder, more hollow sound than the STs. More "high-tech," if you will.
That said, Flowmasters on F*rd engines sound different to me than Flowmasters on Chebbies. Could this be because of the different firing order?
