I may be mistaken, but I do believe the linkage is different on a '66 then 68-72s. I know for a fact that Hurst linkage is different.

They also had a '66 Chevelle 396 convertible that was there on Thursday for $6200, and someone there bought it in the fairgrounds and had it at a different location yesterday for $12,500.
