I would look hard at the exhaust system as it goes over the rear end.  Look for a loose or broken hanger.  Be sure to jack up the car from under the rearend.  This will keep the rear in the same position as when it is on the ground.     Bob A.C.E.S. #1164 T.C. #375 65 Malibu 85 El Camino 96 Camaro
