HA! Come to California. When I was a kid, I worked
at a service station. More times than I care to
count, I shut down the pumps because some moron was
holding the pump handle with one hand and a cigarette
with the other, just leaning against their car withour
a care in the world (heck, they were probably talking
on a cell phone too!) It is truely amazing how little
respect people give to the fuel that drives their
lives.
I agree too, about the static buildup theory. A little
bit of cloth rubbing together is more likely than the
radio waves of the phone.
