Like Bill said check the adjustment. Several years back I overhauled the brakes on my wagon and ended up same way. Bled brakes but had a low hard pedal. Never occured to me that the little bit of extra clearance would do that. A real hair tearer outer. A funny thing: I replaced the leaking M/C on my 64 four door a couple weeks ago and left it sit over night. The next day had brakes! Topped off fluid again. Yes I'll have to do a proper bleeding before it goes on the road but at least I won't drive it into something. Pete Geurds Douglassville, PA
