If you are a bit more picky (like myself) about your auto detailing and want a high
quality product that will get the job done, check out the offerings from Proper Auto
Care. Here's a link to their wheel and tire care products:

Personally, I use various dilutions of 303 Aerospace Cleaner for almost everything I
need to clean on my vehicles, house, etc. - inside and out. 303 gets the Michelins on
my Blazer the cleanest I've ever seen, and is as good as anything else I've used on
the Goodyears on my truck - I probably just need to up the concentration a bit.
Regardless, it's truly awesome - read about it on the link.

Amazing Roll-Off sounds like a great product too (specifically recommended for brown
build up on tires/whitewalls), but it has a high pH level (12-13) so it may remove
some dyes and/or dry out the surfaces being cleaned if you decide to use it on other
stuff. In contrast, 303 only has a pH of 9.5.

As far as more garden variety cleaners that work great, Castrol's Super Clean all
purpose/wheel and tire cleaner is pretty darn good - especially at full strength.
I've used about everything out there on a quest for the best and feel that you really
can't go wrong with the Proper Auto Care offerings or the Castrol Super Clean.
Whatever you go with, a little scrubbing will be necessary. If you have any more
questions, just ask.

Good luck,
