I have tried all kinds of tire / wheel cleaners, but a buddy of mine showed
me the trick - especially for the black dust left by disc brakes.
Spray the general cleaner "Fantastic" on a dry tire and wheel (if the
wheel is wet results are diminished). Scope some suds (not water) onto the
following: brass whitewall brush, a stiff nylon brush and sponge / wash
mitt. 1st scrub the white letters with the whitewall brush. 2nd scrub the
tire with the stiff nylon brush and 3rd use the sponge / mitt on the wheel
itself. Again never getting either of these wet with water. Then rinse
the tire / wheel. Works perfect every time.
But it won't bring the brown out of a blem
