I'm not sure what factors are missing from your calculations but my speedo is within two mph at sixty. 90 by my speedo is at 2350 to 2400. The error from 60 to 90 is not more than 5 mph. At 3000 rpm my speedo showed 115 but corrected I came up with 108. John, By your calculations do you think a six cylinder will a achieve the same speed at equal RPM as a 430 cu in V8? How about a small block VS. a big block? Anyway, what lead to running 3000 was trying to catch Herb and Jim as they had checked out and it took me ten miles to catch up and I only caught them because they slowed down to 85.
