I was replacing the heater core on my 66 this weekend. The heater thermostat that sits in the heater box is mounted on a piece of cardboard-like material. When removing the heater box this cardboard disintegrated. Is there any place to buy a replacement thermostat? Has anyone else run into this problem before? Thanks.
