[Chevelle-list] Dome Light Wiring

Anyone know how the dome light is wired in a 69?  I have one wire running to the dash.  There is no connection in the dash harness for it so I figured that it must have to get spliced into the wire for the door switch.  That way when the door is open, the dome light would turn on… I think.  Does that make sense?   Thanks, JB
