[Chevelle-list] Converting to bucket seats in a 71?

I ordered two pairs of bench to bucket conversion brackets for my 1971.  I have a question about this mod I hope someone can help with. I took the old junker seats down from storage today and set them on the garage floor. Three legs one each seat are the same length, the forth about 1" shorter. Both seats are like this. The conversion bracket picture on Johns web site looks like one end of the brackets is higher than the other, same for both brackets in the set. Either my seats are not from a Chevelle (possible I was sold the wrong thing) or the kit would need one flat bracket per seat and one with an elevated end per seat. Can anyone shed some light on this?  Mark, 71 SS
