Have been looking for a gear shift lever for the 72 Monte Carlo, column 
shift tilt column for sometime with no luck, not even a used one. 
Talking to my parts guy at Chev dealer and he suggested a place called 
Vintage Parts, 877 846-8243.  Called them and they had the item and now 
it is installed in the Monte, genuine GM part.  Shipping was a little 
pricey but for a part I've been looking for it was worth it.

Vintage Parts is located in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin - has anyone else 
conducted business with them?  If anyone is looking for a hard to find 
part might try them.
