Do you *need* a 4" scoop? Or just want one? And I assume you mean a cowl induction hood since you stated 'rear opening'
I can tell you that your line of site is drastically reduced, and you'll have 3"-4" between the top of the cowl and your rear view mirror.... It's a little tough to get used to. Here's mine: http://www.prostreetcar.com/69_malibu.html It'll hold the gauges nicely inside though. :-) And by the way, the Harwood FG hood I have doesn't allow for windshield wipers.
