I've got the 5 point seats installed for the kids in the back of my '69 as well. They work great, and I didn't have to do any modification either. Simply run the lap belt where it needs to be. I highly suggest taking the back seat out, and checking the belts thoroughly, though. I pulled my seat and discovered that one of my rear seatbelts had been severed near where it attaches, and was fraying pretty badly. It was replaced, before my kids were able to ride back there. Kinda funny how anal our generation is about that kind of stuff. I remember riding in the back of my Dad's '69, and kneeling on the seat, facing out the rear window, over the package tray, and trying to get semi's to honk the horn. Changes......

I want to continue a family tradition my dad inadvertently started. My first ride from the hospital was in a red 66 Chevelle SS396. I want to continue this tradition by bringing my wife and son home from the hospital in my red 70 Chevelle SS454. I was wondering if anyone has ever installed the latch-lock system in their cars for the new-style car seats. Does anyone know where I can purchase a latch system that would fit without major modifications? I know a welder who could make the hoods and bolt them to the body behind the seat if necessary, but I would rather find a set that fits and bolt them in without any permanent welding. Does anyone have any experience in this arena? I doubt I'm the first guy to try this endeavor. Thanks, Steve in AZ
