Right now, I subscribe to Car Craft and Chevy High Performance. I grew up
on Hot Rod in the mid-late 80s (when Jeff Smith was editor) and after
picking up a recent copy, I could almost subscribe again. I used to like
Popular Hot Rodding when I was in college, but never subscribed for some
reason.

As for the regular car mags, I've had subscriptions to Car & Driver, Motor
Trend and Autoweek. I really like Autoweek, except for the fact that they
pile up so fast. However, the flip side to that is it guarantees fresh
reading material. I read C&D and MT online when the mood strikes anymore.

I dont know why I never joined ACES.. I'd like to check out their
publication sometime.

Other posters are right -- subscriptions are pretty darn cheap. I'll
usually ante up when one of the neighborhood kids is selling magazine
susbscriptions for a school fundraiser.

Sometimes Super Chevy's articles seem like full length ads for the latest
and greatest part being pushed.
Only good news is someone there likes early Chevelles.
When they go so do I......
Any other magazines with a Chevelle slant?
Oh yeah.. I could join ACES, I was in NCOA and the local chapter and have
been reluctant to join any other clubs.

Road&Track, Motor Trend, Autweek seem to be in a subscription war judging
the low priced offers I've been getting.
Got to know how to recognize new cars so I can help my wife get something
decent and feel like I know what I'm doing!
