For a street car, I prefer the vaccuum adv and an electric choke.
It'll be easier to tune, easier on fuel, and let the carb choke itself as
needed.
Simplicity has its merits.  :-)

I'm partial to the Holley's, but I think the Edelbrock's are quite good also.
Good choice of CFM size.  Most people want something too big.

I put on one of the new Holley Street Avenger (vacc advance, elec choke).  They
boast it's a bolt on and go, and it was pretty close.  I've only adjusted the
metering rods some, and nothing else.
