This is and always will be a grassroots hobby. Most of the
folks I do resto work for are not rich. They are fullfilling a dream that
was beyond their reach in the past. We all should want the value of our cars
to go up as it helps to justify our "investments". But hopefully this
increase will remain reasonably or "our hobby" will become something only
the rich could afford.

Have to agree with Mike...although I for one am not trying to fulfill a dream
I could not afford in the past...

AND I NO NOT think of them as investments ..at least NOT
in a monetary way....for personal enjoyment and and personal satisfaction ..then a BIG YES.

I just happen to enjoy wrenching on them and getting them to "run" MY WAY and I hate
to admit it but I have been know to wax a car just for the pleasure I get when I am done.. sure as hell beats cutting the grass
