Thanks Larry, I think for a new car I would definitely look into this product. I don’t think I want to adhere anything to the new paint job I am having done on my 70. I am looking for something like the bras you see on a lot of cars that you can put on and take off easily for travel to and from shows, cruises, or road trips to protect the paint from road debris that might chip the new paint. Even that I would only leave on during the travel time, and not leave on for any longer time period. I think I may end up having to going to a shop that does custom interiors, or perhaps does work on boats, and have one made to fit the car. Does anyone in the Chicago area know of any specialty shops that do this type of work? Thanks though I appreciate the input, and have filed the web sight for future use.

This may be what you are looking for. Wife just bought an Infiniti M 45 and they quoted her $950.00 to do a protective bra across the front, door handle area, mirrors and across the rear below the trunk for $950.00. One phone call to an installer and I got hood-fenders -door handle areas and below trunk for $650.00. Twice the coverage for 1/3 the price. This is one source, 3-M makes a similar product. Larry (Z) |
