I did mine like Steve. Lowered the inner fender and that was about it. I didn't have the wrenches though so I dropped a few pints of blood but I think I have replenished it now. I disagree that you would need to take the fender completely out or the wheel off. It may make it easier but I didn't need to do it on mine. Then again, I don't have AC.

Is that correct? If so, would it be easier to disconnect at the radiator support bushings and the 2 main bolts at the back of each fender and take the whole nose off?
