I used the Tru-Max insulator mat. I got it from Summit PN TRU-BLIP11406. It's not as heavy or as expensive as the Dynamat, but it made a very noticeable difference in the amount of heat & noise coming into the car. I used 1 sheet (4 x 6 ft) under the carpet from the firewall to under the front seat. It's a cheaper and lighter alternative.
