I'm getting ready to buy new headers for my 72 Chevelle SS. I'm running a
454 with 8-71 blower. What do you recommend...Hedman....Hooker...Dynamax????

i strongly suggest custom made headers, i have had a few sets built and they are second to none, the plugs are easy to get out and i think the tubes are closer to being "same length" also "Headers By Ed" are nice units. my friend owns a muffler shop and someone brought in a header they had "dimpled" to get around steering- don't know if i beleive it but the place he was having his engine done would not warranty his engine with that "dimple" in it (which was not very large) due to they claimed it was a restriction. -- so you would also avoid this problem.
