I just found your website and am totally amazed how active it is - I was young and 21 when I bought my '66 396 SS coupe in the fall of 1965 - It replaced a '64 Chevelle that had no "punch" My '66 was my everyday driver and on weekends I went our to the Westhampton Dragstrip to race - The car was an "animal" - In the spring of '69 my car was stolen - Some 3 months later it was found and returned to me but it wasn't the same - I traded in and bought a new '69 Corvette -
I am now 60 and have had 4 Corvettes since then - I've been looking for a "real" 396/454 Chevellle convertible - Haven't found the "right one" yet -
