I thought 66/7 consoles had metal tops & plastic bases?  
Yeah, I'm old too.  Some mornings 45, some 75, but mostly 59. That's OK, I 
got to order a 66 malibu convertible and drive it off the dealers lot 6 weeks 
later.  If you're driving 136676K192419 let me know & I'll tell you about its 
first 5 years ;-)
