[Chevelle-list] New Rear Springs - '65 Chevelle

When putting new rear springs in my '65 Malibu they do not want to self-align on top and sit a couple of inches from where they should be.  Is there an easy fix?  Maybe loosening the bottom until the tops are where they should be?  The manual is not clear on this.   Thanks, Dennis McGillis (SCCCC & VCCA) 949-533-7211  cell [EMAIL PROTECTED]
