I have a two part question I need an answer! I'm to the point of researching what disc brakes to use on my 72 Chevelle. I have discs on only the front, but would prefer to replace them and the rear drums. I have 15" rims and plan to stay with them for now. It doesn't mean I will never change them. Baer, Wilwood, etc...Who would you go with? I am converting my brakes over to hydraulic brakes and doing away with my old booster set up. While I may do some racing...most of the use will be for general driving in the city or country.
Next, I want to change my suspension from stock to tubular a frame style. Who do you go with...Global West, Heidt, Hotchkis....? Also coil over or air ride...Which is better? What do you suggest about the rear set up? I prefer the regular stance nothing radical and low slung, and I don't plan to make the car hop up and down. I do want a firm safe good feeling ride!
