The difference I have found is clearly "price" for one. And the second is so slight, probably not worth mentioning. The FATMAT product is .080 thick product where others, when I looked were .060 or .053 thick. 1$ sq ft is a good price point. Butyl composition with alumin substrate, might be cheaper now. You need a heat gun and it will stretch and conform better. It's really good to use heat in a 90 degree garage.
