I live in North San Diego County. You
should check out "Cruisin' Grand" in Escondido. It's a cruise
night/gathering that happens every Friday night during the summer

They
basically block off a 14 square block area. Cars cruise the circuit or
park along the side streets. That whole area becomes reserved parking
for classic cars only. Always a bunch of cool cars. Usually a wide
variety of makes and years. Sometimes different clubs show up and will
take up a whole parking lot or section like corvettes, cobras, etc.
Always lots of people and the local oldies station blasts some tunes.
There are lots of restaurants in that area too, but they get
crowded.
