Thanks. I did turn it and jiggle it. I'll try that again. I had that same problem w/ my 68 Olds. Sometimes I really had to play with it to get them to stay on. It would be great for that to be all it is.

When they are dirty the dash lights would flicker on and off. I thought dash light circuit was on the instrument lamps 5 amp fuse but I may be thinking of another car year.
