Around here anyway, one can still find a reasonable
priced Chevelle or El Camino, especially the latter. I'm hoping that as Chevelles
continue to climb ever higher in price, that El Caminos will gain more
interest.

That's what I'm understanding. For those of us that own I guess
that makes it a good investment. For the investor buyers & sellers I
don't know. But for the young guys & the future of our hobby,
I say we're in trouble!!

I just viewed some BJ Auction results.
Can someone tell me how they price some of this stuff. Of the 879
cars, I felt like I was looking at every Best of Show car in the
country. Some were reasonably priced but most were off the scale from
what I see at shows. Many were Non #'s, mods, drivers, etc.
I understand the true value of a #'s matching trailered museum quality
car. There's alot of beautiful cars out there going for $30-40.
All these $100k+ things are mind boggling. I don't understand.
What am I missing? Are there that many people out there with more $$
than brains driving up these prices or is there a network of buyers &
investors flipping? Or is BJ the snake oil salesman of cars? I
don't have a clue. Anyone? Just thinking out loud as
usual. No offense to
anyone. &nbs
