[Chevelle-list] Edelbrock Performer RPM and Air Gap Intake Manifolds on 66/67 Chevelles

I just read on Summit that the Performer RPM and the Air Gap will not fit with a stock hood on a 66 or 67 Chevelle. Anybody out there using this intake with a BBS in a 66 or 67 that can shed some light on this? Is it flat out impossible, or are there ways to make it happen?   Thanks, Larry
