Hi Larry,

My 468 will spin past 7k rpm with a hydraulic roller, but then I built it
with rpm in mind...

It has AFR heads (which flow very good), titanium valve spring retainers,
double valve springs, extremely lightweight Schubeck hydraulic roller
lifters (only 64 grams each), a Comp hyd roller cam - .612" & 245* dur @
.050", Jesel shaft rocker arms, shorter than stock push rods, lightweight
Scat crank (60 lbs), lightweight pistons and rods, Victor Jr intake, and
custom built headers.

I also adjust the lifters with zero preload to prevent pump up when the rpm
gets up there. It's a little noisy but still quieter than a solid cam.
