After doing several searches I have found out that Shiftworks makes a
kit so I can use the Dual Gate with the 4L80E. I have several Dual Gates so I
will be able to modify one to fit the stock automatic console in my 65. I still
want to do the paddle shifters though.
I also need the name of a speedometer shop in either New Mexico or Arizona
that makes the 160 speedometer and lenses for 65's. I have lost the link
and cannot remember his name.
Also in my searches I am looking for speedometer conversion
kit (Electronic to manual) for the 4L80E. Everyone wants close to
$500.00 for the kit and I know it is basically GM parts from a TH 400 (tail
piece and gears). I can go with a adapter that converts electronic to manual for
$ 239.00 but I would rather have the stock look and less wires.
Any help from anyone would be more than appreciated.
