Hi Larry,

I don't know if you're interested in converting a stock shifter to work with the new trans or not, but you might check out www.shiftworks.com.  They provide the internal pieces necessary to convert your stock shifter.  Another avenue might be a paddle shift setup from www.twistmachine.com.  If you go that route, you'll also need to get a trans computer from TCI or similar source.

Take care and Happy New Year to you too!

Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] where did everyone go

Hey Guys:
Santa was very good to me <bought my own on Ebay>. What is everyone doing for shifters for 4 speed autos. I ended up with a very nice 4L80E and now I need to figure out what shifter to use. I was going to use a Dual-Gate when I was using TH 400 but now I have one more gear. I called Hurst (Mr. Gasket) today and they told me either the V-Matic 2 shifter (383-8521) or the Pro-Matic  2 shifter (383-8504) will work with the TH 700 R4 or  TH 200 4R .They did tell me it will work on the 4L80E as well. I was also told they will be making the Dual-Gate for the 4 speed autos but there is no date on when at this time. Any other suggestions or sites to look other brands?
Also at one time someone was talking about after market transmission tunnels being fabricated tunnels. Can someone direct me to the sites?
                                                       Happy New Years !
