  If your running a small block, you can raise the front by putting BB springs in the front. If the springs in back are 40 years old you may get the lift you want simply by replacing them with new ones.

Ive wondered about the coils on my 65 chevelle. When we were kids we put spacers in them to raise the car. I would like to raise the front end about 2" higher than factory  and the rear as well. any ideas would help.

Also remember that any coils cut off equal a stiffer spring. (higher
compression rate)
