I used to do alignments and it is easier if the shims
are back in and they can be adjusted as necessary.

I was talking to the guy at the alignment shop
here and he says that after I have finished my front end rebuild that I
shouldn't put the shims back in the upper contol arm cross shafts and to just
tighten themp up and take it to him and he will replace the shims as
needed........I have read that you are to keep the shims and put them back in
the same as you took them out and this will get your alignment close enough to
drive to the shop.
I was wondering which way to go with
this....Anybody have any experiences or suggestions..???
