Thanks Again,

SORRY LARRY  it slipped my mind, heres the scoop;
if it does this in all gears= clutch
if it does this only in 1st= internal trans problem- fork- possible pin came out
if it grinds when you do this= slave
hope this helps!!

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Off Topic - Frontier Tranny Question

Guys,

My boy stopped by my work a while ago and told me he lost 1st gear in his 5 speed 2000 Nissan Frontier truck. I shifted the gears with the truck running (stationary), and the stick feels fine going through the gears. When I put it in 1st, it goes in just fine, but when I release the clutch, it acts like it's in neutral. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Larry Shouse
