It's not quite that easy. Those one piece pans aren't punched out exactly
like the original pan. The ribs don't match up well at all. In some areas
there are suppose to be ribs there are none. It can be done. I've done two
but it does take a little fabricating if you going for a perfect look (i.e.
completely unnoticeable).
Measure five times then measure one more time then cut.

thanks for the response john, the pan that im looking at is a one piece
partial pan , basically just a big piece in the center. im assuming its a
cut out and weld in process, is this correct? tim
