Les;
I used several sources when converting my 71 dash a few years ago trying to save a buck here and there. Did'nt work out that way. Best to get a few quotes - Jonh Nasta saved me money on several parts. Probabably better to get it all as a kit.
Gary at http://www.tachman.com/ can fix your clock or quartz it if you want. He may even have some gauges on hand...he restores them. He's a old Chevelle guy and should be able to provide some leads..

Last week i wrote list requesting feedback on quality of gauges
offered by folks like, Year One, Ground Up, Muscle Car Factory or
any vendors listed in Chevelle related publications. Got ripped
about using caps and then subject moved to Dakota and Covan's
products. I have a 70 SS 396 with the idiot lights. Speedo works
but clock dosen't. I want to replace all gauges and clock(keeping
all for later) and replacing with the gauges that came with the
instrumentation package trying to keep the origional look. Is there
a difference in quality of the gauges offered by these restoration
suppliers and if so which is the preferred source? Thanks, Les.
