I just remembered why I was so shocked that the rubber fuel line between my
sending unit and the steel line was patched with electrical tape. You have
to take the tank out just to get to it. Can you imagine going through all of
that and not being willing to spend what, a quarter maybe on a three inch
piece of rubber hose? I think it's safe to say that mine was pretty much put
through the wringer.
