Well I will probably get banned for mentioning the "F" word but if it were me in your situation I would get a Taurus Wagon. 2000-up. Good look with the alloy wheels. Very dependable and good economy for the size of car. I routinely get 24-28 mpg mixed. I had a dark blue one with the rear doors and the 3 back windows with the darkest tint available. I carried a load which set the car down. Our company leases these and since 2000 was the only car you could get. Anyway they go a long time as do a lot of cars nowadays.
