Hi Larry,

My current engine combo is new (so far only 1600 miles on it) but it seems like I'm getting from 12-15 mpg.  Of course, that will all change when I really start putting my foot in it every time I drive it!  Oh, and that's with a .64 OD, 3.70 rear gears, and 28" tall tire.

I know there are many factors that influence the number, but I'm curious what kind of gas mileage everybody is getting in their big blocks.

In my case, I have a .030 over 396 with roller parts, 870 CFM Holley Street Avenger carb, 4 speed and a 373 rear end. Any guesses? 8? 10? 12?
