I was
assuming some sort of overlap, but he didn’t say. -----Original
Message----- John, How are
they suggesting to use the epoxy, similar to plug-welds or just a basic overlap
joint? I continue to give my buddy crap about fixing his motorcycle brake lever
with epoxy (It didn't work well), so I'm kind of iffy on using it for such a
structural peice. Shawn On Mar 14,

I just got
an email suggesting that I try epoxy rather than welding to hang my new quarter
panel. The advantage is supposed to be that there is no chance of heat
distortion (warpage) that you can get from welding, also you don’t need special
equipment to do it. Supposedly this is common practice in body shops these
days. Has anybody tried this?
