Well I got the motor pulled out that was as far as I got. I will inspect
tomorrow. I was surprised to find crane roller rockers maybe I will find
more good surprises. I hope

doesn't the shaft come out with the pump like a small block,i would look
at shaft more then likely it twisted.

Somewhere else to start looking is the pump driveshaft and see if it's
binding up. An oil pump locking up is very unusual.
