The centerlink is not rebuildable.  If it's worn out, replace it.

I'm assuming you're talking about the upper control arm bolts? Those "teeth" lock the bolt in the hole of the upper a-arm bracket so you can tighten the nut down without having to hold onto the bolt. Sort of like a press fit. If you replace them with a regular bolt, you'll have to use two tools and two hands when you tighten the nut down. Kind of awkward if your front inner fenders are installed.

I had a few questions I thought I would run by you guys....


Would I be better off replacing my original center link or just clean it up, maybe replace the ends and re-use it? What have some of you guys done?


Can someone explain why the front control arms need to have the little teeth on them under the head? When I replace them should I use the same kind or can I get by with regular bolts?


Also.....Im looking at painting my rims (71 SS rims) I am considering using the original gray color. Does anyone know the name of that color and maybe where I can see a good picture of some rims?
