Subject: [Chevelle-list] Control arms Bolts
Date: Tue, 28 Mar 2006 18:38:26 -0600
In me earlier email I asked about being able to use regular bolts instead
of the ones with "teeth" >for the front upper control arms. I just went
out to the garage and remembered the real question >I was wanting to
ask....
I replaced the cross shaft in the upper control arms with a MOOG shaft.
The old one was >threaded on the inside and the bolt threaded in to it.
The new shaft actually has male threads >that come through the new bushing.
Do I just get a big washer and lock nut and thread them on >or how did
some of you guys to it?
Thanks for the help
Ryan
I am finally in the "putting back together" stage!
