Good point Walt, I rather blow the gasket than a piston.

The blower I have in mind is Vortech, it's not written in stone, but
definitely a centrifugal type. It doesn’t have the same cool look as a
6-71 or similar, but the centrifugal should be more reliable.

at 11psi a std fel pro will work fine.  I know folks that push 20+ at 
felpro's in sbc's without issues.  For extra insurance the cometic 
gasket are better sealers...but be carefull if you detonate with a 
felpro it may blow.  If you detonate with a cometic there is a good 
chance the piston will blow first.  What type of blower do you plan on 
running?  Centrifugal or Roots?  I ran my procharger @ 10-15 lbs and 
loved it.
