I drove my x-67 from Dallas to Lawton (160 miles or so) and for a few weeks thereafter until I could find all the P/S brackets and such to hook it back up again.  Drove it for another 13/14 years after hooking it all up and it never gave me any trouble.   Naturally, you’ll run into someone who drove from the end of the driveway into the garage and ruined theirs.
