If you go with the Hydraboost unit, it will solve your problem with the tight clearance. I had the same problem with my 454. Anyways, since I have tall valve covers on my 396 in my 66, this huge booster will not fit.   Can somebody tell me what size booster I should buy for my dual reservoir master cylinder?
