I have the X-Stream filter top for my Chevelle, but I can't attest to it's
performance since I haven't driven the Chevelle yet. It appears to be well
made, and the filter element is the same as other K&N products. We use K&N
filters in our family vehicles, and we did notice a very mild increase in
gas mileage, which would indicate better flow. Cleaning the filter is pretty
straight forward. I will be using these filters in all my vehicles.

hey guys, I have another question. I am going to get a new air filter
soon and I was looking at the K&N Extreme filters they have and they state
it adds more HP to your engine because it adds more air through. It
sounds good! However, does anyone use these types of filter from K&N?
Are they good? Any cons? Or, should I stick with the old stock paper
filter? thanks
