Hi Eddie, I have one on my El Camino. I don't know if it works any better than the paper style but I do like the fact that I can clean it and reuse it. When I had to replace the paper element (before the K&N) it seemed the parts stores never had a simple round 14x3 element on the shelf, so now that hassle is gone.
